What is Your Return Policy?
We offer a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason you may return the item to us for a full refund. Please email sales@bananaroad.com within 30 days of delivery for a return authorization. Items must be returned in original condition.
Do I pay sales tax?
Only customers in Ohio are required to pay sales tax of 6.75%.
Can I pick up my order from your location?
If you are in the Athens, Ohio area and would like to stop by and pick up your order, you are welcomed to do so. Our location is 12 South Court Street in uptown Athens, across the street from the Athens County Court House and the Board of Elections.
For customers interested in stopping by, we recommend NOT placing an order online. If you see an item available for sale on online, then this usually means that we have the item in stock. Please be advised, however, that the in-store price may not be the same as the price of the item listed online. If you have any questions about the availability or price of an item that you are interested in picking up directly from us, please feel free to call us at (740) 592-6140. Our retail hours of operation are generally 1pm-6pm EST Monday thru Saturday (We are closed on Tuesdays and Sundays).
How long after I have placed my order will it be shipped?
We at BananaRoad.com pride ourselves on the speed of our ability to expedite the orders of our customers. Most orders will be sent within 1 to 2 business days from the time of payment.
Can I cancel an order after it’s made?
If you wish to cancel an order that has been completed, we urge you to contact us as soon as possible. Please email us at sales@bananaroad.com or call us at (740) 592-6140 to alert us to your desire to cancel.
If your order has already been sent and you wish to cancel, you will need to wait until you receive your order in the mail. Once your order has arrived, contact us via email or phone for further details.
Can I exchange a product after I received it?
Any exchanges will require the customer to pay the shipping costs of the return and the subsequent shipment of the exchanged item. If you need to make an exchange, please email us (sales@bananaroad.com) or give us a call (740) 592-6140.
Do I have to register to purchase?
Registering is not necessary in order to make a purchase from BananaRoad.com; however, doing so will give customers the ability to have access to past order information, Delivery Confirmation information, and other useful information regarding their account.
How do I register?
You will be asked to register during checkout. Registration is not required.
How do I remove my name from the email list and opt out of other services?
Send an email to unsubscribe@bananaroad.com with your email address as the title.
Do you ship internationally?
Bananaroad.com ships to almost any country on the planet.
How do I send a gift to another address?
Customers will be given the ability to enter their preferred shipping address during the checkout process. We do not offer a gift wrapping service.
How do I shop online?
Shopping online is fairly simple these days. Generally, all that is required is a valid email address and either a Pay Pal account or a major credit card. Once a customer has chosen an item or items from our website, they can go through our secure checkout to set up the shipping and payment details for their order. How do I track my package?
Once your order has been processed and shipped, an email will be sent that contains a US Postal Service Delivery Confirmation number. This number can be entered into the “Track & Confirm” search field on the USPS website (www.usps.com). Please note that Delivery Confirmation information is limited to a confirmation that the item has been received by our local post office, confirmation that the item has arrived to the post office that matches the ZIP code provided by the customer, and confirmation that there is a problem with delivery. In other words, the DC# will not indicate the location of a package at every step of the way along its route from us to the customer like the UPS tracking service. If a customer feels that a package is overdue, we urge them to check the USPS website first. A customer can also give the DC# to their local postal folks to see if any resolution to the problem can be reached.
How can I modify or cancel my order?
Any changes or cancellations to an order need to be done prior to finalizing the order during the checkout process. If a customer has already finalized an order and needs to make a change, it is crucial that they contact us as soon as possible. Due to the speed of our service, we cannot always guarantee that the changes or cancellation can be done because an order may have already been processed and shipped.
Will you call me to verify my order?
Bananaroad.com will not make phone calls to verify a customer’s order. We urge customers to make all necessary changes to an order prior to finalization during the checkout process. All communication from BananaRoad.com will be conducted via email, so it is important that a customer provides a valid email address.
I didn't receive an email confirming my order -- did you get it?
If a customer has placed an order but has not received a confirmation email, it may be that the order was not successfully completed. In such cases, we urge the customer to check the status of their order by logging in to their account. If there are any questions, feel free to contact us by email or phone.
It says 'Order Processing' in my account page -- can I still cancel?

What are my payment options?
Bananaroad.com accepts a variety of forms of payment: Pay Pal, credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover).
Do you accept credit cards issued outside of USA?
Yes, but your order will be subjected to a comprehensive FraudScreen process. Please ensure you enter your billing address correctly. You may also pay with PayPal.
Will my order ship all at once or in multiple shipments?
In most cases, a customer’s order will be shipped all at once. However, if a customer has created multiple orders and made separate payments for them, the orders will be shipped according to when the order was received. If a customer has paid separately for individual items, they cannot be combined into a single order. Also, some items cannot be combined with others due to their shape and consistency. As a result, some orders will require more than one package.
What are my shipping options?
For most items, Bananaroad.com uses US Postal Service 1st Class Mail as its standard shipping class. Delivery generally occurs in 1 to 7 days for most domestic addresses, but occasionally it can be longer. We offer an upgrade to USPS Priority Mail (1 to 3 days for delivery) for a small fee to service customers who need their order sooner. Please be advised that delivery timeframes are not guaranteed by either the USPS or by BananaRoad.com. There is always the chance that a problem with delivery will occur.
Some of our items, due to their size and weight, require us to send them via USPS Priority Mail. As a result, the shipping price for these items will be different from items that ship via USPS 1st Class Mail. Customers are urged to make a note of the shipping rates for the each item they are interested in.
For orders going to destinations outside the USA, US Postal Service International 1st Class mail is used except in cases involving an item or items that exceed a certain weight or size limit. In such cases, USPS Priority Mail may be used.
Also, BananaRoad.com does not offer any overnight or next-day shipping options. If a customer needs an item quickly, we encourage them to use the Priority Mail upgrade.
Can I ship to Alaska/Hawaii?
BananaRoad.com is happy to service customers in Alaska and Hawaii. The shipping rates for addresses in these states are the same as those stated for customers in the continental USA.
Can I ship to an APO/FPO?
BananaRoad.com is pleased to offer shipping to Armed Forces personnel serving overseas. Shipping rates for APO/FPO addresses are the same as rates for addresses in the USA; however, delivery times may not be the same.
